CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

Check-in from 3 pm on the day of your arrival. You’re in the city early? You are welcome to drop your luggage with us before check-in. An early check-in from 10 am is also available (Subject to availability and with surcharge). Make your holiday start even earlier. You can also use our online check-in beforehand with your booking number.

Check-in is possible until 11 pm. In case of late arrival after 11 pm, we kindly ask you to contact us on time.

Check-out until 11 am – at our reception or the terminal located in the lobby. You can also settle up the day prior to departure. We are happy to look after your luggage free of charge until you leave Munich. If you want to sleep in: With our optional late-check-out (on request and with a surcharge of 35,-€) you can relax until 3 pm – please let us know when booking.

CAR PARKING AND MUNICH’S LOW EMISSION ZONE

You can park your car in our parking garage for €15 per day. Please book in advance.

Upon arrival, simply leave your car in the courtyard and check in at reception. We will then direct you to the parking garage.

Please note: You need a green emissions sticker for your car to drive in the centre of Munich (low emission zone). if already have an emissions sticker – perhaps you live in Berlin, Bremen or Stuttgart – then you don’t need to do anything, as your sticker is valid in Munich too.

HOSPITALITY

Our reception is manned from 6:30am to 11pm. Our reception staff live and breathe Munich and are more than happy to advise you where is best to eat, drink, shop, wander, admire and celebrate. You are welcome to pop along at any time with your questions and requests.

Our inviting lobby is home to our hotel bar, featuring a hand-picked selection of Bavarian beers, wonderful wines and fine liquors.

COFFEE & TEA BAR

Enjoy freshly brewed coffee and aromatic teas at our coffee & tea bar located in the lobby. A wide selection of coffee specialties, as well as tea flavours, is available for self-service.

MAIERS’ MINI MARKET

Visit our minimarket situated in the lobby! Ranging from snacks and chilled beverages to toothbrushes and a shaving set – you’ll find a small but handy selection of products; around the clock. Feel free to take what you need to your room.

Are you looking for a place to work uninterruptedly and concentrated? Do you need a room for a meeting with colleagues or clients? Our workspace in the Hotel Mirabell offers the ideal location – you’ll find anything you need: a big desk with 8 chairs, a flipchart board as well as a flatscreen TV. On request, we’ll also supply you with hot and cold beverages, sandwiches, and pretzels.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

The Hotel Mirabell is just a stone’s throw from the main train station. All of the main modes of public transport stop here: the U-Bahn underground lines U1, U4, U5, and the U2, which offers a direct link to the exhibition grounds; all S-Bahn local train lines, as well as S1/S8 with a direct link to the airport; the Lufthansa airport bus and the tram lines 18, 19, 20 and 27.

A 8 from Salzburg

At the end of the motorway in Munich Ramersdorf, take Rosenheimer Straße straight on towards the city centre.
On the Ludwigsbrücke bridge over the Isar, along Zweibrückenstraße to Isartorplatz
Turn left into Frauenstraße, continue via Blumenstraße and Sendlinger Tor into Sonnenstraße
Just before Karlsplatz/Stachus turn into Landwehrstraße
Follow the road until approx. 30 m before the corner of Goethestraße
The entrance to the car park is on the right-hand side.

A 8 from Augsburg/Stuttgart

At the end of the motorway, continue straight ahead in the direction of Stadtmitte (city centre)
At Romanplatz turn half-left into Arnulfstraße
Continue straight on to the main railway station (north side)
Turn right into Bahnhofplatz and continue straight on into Schillerstraße
Turn right at the intersection with Landwehrstraße
Follow the road until approx. 30 m before the corner of Goethestraße

A 9 from Nuremberg

At the end of the motorway München-Schwabing turn right into Schenkendorfstraße.
Then turn left into Leopoldstraße and continue to the end of the street
Turn right into Briennerstraße and continue to the large intersection
Turn left into Maximilianstraße
After the 3rd traffic light turn left again
Straight ahead across Karlsplatz/Stachus into Sonnenstraße
Turn right at the 2nd traffic light into Landwehrstraße
After approx. 40 m turn right into the car park

A 95 from Garmisch-Partenkirchen / A 96 from Lindau

At the end of the motorway turn left onto Mittlerer Ring – Garmischer Straße
Continue straight on, after approx. 1 km in the subway turn right towards the city centre into Landsberger Straße and continue into Schwanthalerstraße
Turn right at the traffic lights Schwanthaler-/Schillerstraße
Turn right again at the next traffic lights, until approx. 30 m before the corner of Goethestraße
